Sonoma Land Trust is looking for someone to lead our Conservation Easement Program and manage acquisition projects through work with partners, colleagues, and private landowners that support our efforts in protecting biodiversity and creating a more resilient environment. This position will provide overall administrative and project management support to the Acquisitions department and lead the conservation easement program through both acquisition and stewardship phases.

We are seeking a tech-savvy project management professional to lead systems improvement initiatives and manage the organization’s digital resources and security to ensure SLT’s growing team of conservationists have the necessary tools to operate efficiently and effectively. Streamlined workflow, standardized applications and technology, enhanced administrative processes, and a safe and secure operating environment are crucial for SLT to succeed in our essential work in Sonoma County. This position is responsible for organizing, planning, executing, and delivering system and technology enhancing priorities in collaboration with appropriate third-party vendors, consultants, and the SLT Operations team.
Intern With Us
Sonoma Land Trust offers internships each school year. Interns must be currently enrolled at an accredited school to receive academic credit.
Outings Intern (3 units)
Description: Gain experience bringing groups into the outdoors by assisting with Sonoma Land Trust’s On the Land outings program.
Qualifications: A love of the outdoors, an enjoyment of people and the ability to hike up to six miles carrying up to 25 pounds. Intern must be reliable and have own transportation. Spanish-speaking a plus!
Hours: Approximately two weekend days each month from September through May. 135 hours total.
Location: Various preserves throughout Sonoma County.
Stipend: $2160
