We hope you were able to attend our Member Appreciation Day on 8/19 at Glen Oaks Ranch Preserve. It was a fantastic time where we could show our gratitude and appreciation for our members who have expressed their commitment to preserving our most valued resource – nature!

Thank you for joining us!
We had a fun-filled day with activities to please everyone in your family. If you missed it, we started the day with a rejuvenating morning yoga practice followed by a guided tour of the Civil War-era stone mansion and surrounding historic grounds with local historian Arthur Dawson. Then we brushed up on some wildness skills before learning about our wildfire ecology practices. Families visited the kids zone or took a self-guided stroll through the 236-acre preserve discovering the peaceful oak woodlands and open meadows. Friends old and new met at the picnic lunch and enjoyed the lively blue grass band bringing closure to a memorable day together.

We hope to do it again next year (2024)
