Welcome to Sonoma Land Trust’s inaugural book club / study group. We’ll be meeting in-person and online (hybrid) to discuss Kuleana: A Story of Family, Land, and Legacy in Old Hawai’I by Sara Kehaulani Goo.
This study group will run over the course of four meetings through December and January. We’ll divide the book discussion into four sections, following the divisions in the book:
Part One: The ‘Āina and the Secret (88 pages)
Part Two: Searching (60 pages)
Part Three: Finding Answers, Finding Myself (74 pages)
Part Four: Finding Kuleana (100 pages)
We’ll provide study questions for each section, and also encourage you to come with your own questions.
You’ll be able to attend in-person, online, or a combination of the two. We hope you’ll join us!
