Job Opportunities

The Senior Manager, People and Culture plays a mission-critical role in this work by collaborating with SLT Leadership to nurture the people and culture of Sonoma Land Trust. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for the full employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and learning and professional development. The Senior Manager, People and Culture partners closely with the leadership team to foster a healthy, equitable, and high-performing workplace culture and serves as a trusted resource for staff at all levels. This role is a full-time, exempt position. The starting annual salary is $120,000.

Sonoma Land Trust is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant works closely with the Accounting Manager and the Finance team for a broad range of financial, administrative and operational duties that are essential to the success of Sonoma Land Trust. The Staff Accountant plays a critical role in the accounting, payroll and grants processes and systems within Sonoma Land Trust. This position is a full time, non-exempt role. The starting salary is $38 per hour.

Sonoma Land Trust seeks a rigorous conservation scientist with strong communication skills to oversee applied research projects, furthering the organization’s commitment to scientifically informed conservation. 

Sonoma Land Trust is looking for someone to lead our Conservation Easement Program through work with partners, colleagues, and private landowners that support our efforts in protecting biodiversity and creating a more resilient environment. The Conservation Easement Program Manager is the primary point of contact with CE landowners, collaborates on conservation easement acquisitions, manages approval and violation/enforcement work, maintains accurate records for each easement property, and directs the easement monitoring program.
