Impact Report 2024–2025
During 2024-2025, Sonoma Land Trust further demonstrated our deep commitment to the people and places that make this region extraordinary. We advanced several significant conservation efforts, providing funding and project support for the 1,157-acre Monte Rio Redwoods expansion and acquiring Camps 3 and 5, contributing to our goal of restoring 10,000 acres of Baylands. We increased our capacity to connect students with nature through our SLIME program. Our environmental advocacy helped unlock $3.5 billion in Proposition 4 funding, secured $50 million to expand the Tolay Creek Bridge for Baylands restoration, and supported legislation that enhances climate resilience and safeguards our landscapes for the future.

A few highlights include protecting more than 750 acres of land that advance our 30×30 climate goals, and the ongoing Santa Rosa Southeast Greenway project, strengthening both ecosystem health and community access to nature.
