HELP PROTECT OSPREY HILL RANCH

Shaping the future of the coast
Sonoma Land Trust is working to protect Osprey Hill Ranch, an iconic landscape featuring wetlands, coastal prairies, steelhead-bearing streams.

About Osprey Hill Ranch
Osprey Hill Ranch sits at the center of protected lands, offering a historic opportunity to connect essential natural resources up and down the coast as well as inland. If the Ranch is not purchased for conservation by December 2026, it could be sold on the private market and developed into estate home lots.
Situated in a wildlife corridor, the ranch is home to many species that depend on this land to survive. Humans, too, will benefit from the sense of awe that open space on the coast provides.

Connecting vital landscapes
The Ranch is adjacent to Sonoma Coast State Park, which hosts 2.6 million visitors annually. It will add a vital link in the California Coastal Trail that connects to Duncan’s Landing, Wright’s Beach, and Red Hill.
Teeming with biodiversity
At a unique juncture of coastal grassland, forest, and riparian ecosystems, the Ranch supports diverse species and sits within a critically important coastal wildlife corridor.
Safeguarding our communities
Applying conservation grazing and other land stewardship practices, we can upgrade the health of the coastal prairie grasslands and conserve water.
Proactive stewardship
Our integrated approach to land stewardship will benefit the two creeks, wetlands and coastal terrace prairie to protect habitat and special status species that call this land home.
PROTECT THE FUTURE OF THE SONOMA COAST

From sweeping hilltop vistas that frame the bluffs of the Pacific Ocean to vital riparian, wetland, and coastal grasslands, your support helps protect these vital natural resources while preserving the agricultural heritage of the region. We hope you’ll take this opportunity to conserve the health of plants, wildlife, and humans, now and for generations to come.
