Climate Resilience in Sonoma County

Responding to biodiversity loss
Our generation will be defined by how we respond to the most pressing challenges of our time: biodiversity loss and the rapidly changing climate.

What is climate resilience?
Biodiversity is the foundation of life on Earth, sustaining the balance of ecosystems that provide clean air, water, food, and climate stability. Biodiversity loss threatens the health of our planet, but through protecting and restoring habitats, reconnecting wild landscapes, and advancing nature-based policies, we’re better equipped to ensure the web of life continues to sustain clean air, water, and a stable climate for all.
It’s a big problem, but one we can, and must, solve. Here’s more about our approach.
