Howarth Park - Cypress Point A picnic area

Saturday, July 25, 10am-12pm

Level: Gentle

Sonoma Land Trust is excited to collaborate with Assemblymember Damon Connolly to host a walk and talk from Howarth Park to the Southeast Greenway through Spring Lake Regional Park. This approximately 1.5-mile walk will take us from Lake Raphine to Spring Lake and up to the eastern end of the Southeast Greenway for an overview of the future connecting trail through Santa Rosa.

Assemblymember Damon Connolly was elected to the California State Assembly in November of 2022 to represent the 12th Assembly District. Over his nearly two decades in public service, Damon Connolly has been a capable and effective leader who is thoughtful, dedicated, and focused on achieving important policy victories that improve the lives of all North Bay residents. As a State Assemblymember, he serves as Chair of the Assembly Committee on Environmental Safety and Toxic Materials and is a member of the following policy committees: Judiciary, Budget, Budget Subcommittee No.4 on Climate Crisis, Natural Resources, and Agriculture.

Join us to learn more about Assemblymember Damon Connolly’s legislative efforts, hear updates on important projects happening in his district, and get the opportunity to talk with your local Representative.
